Here are 5 local meat shops and markets that are around to satisfy your holiday turkey needs:

Red Barn Market

The Victoria owned and operated grocery chain offers a variety of meat and deli products including holiday turkeys!

Let your holiday dreams fly and choose between local Courtenay turkeys from Victorian Acres or Langley BC turkeys from JD Farms to pre-order.

If you’re looking for something a tad smaller, they have customized handcrafted Turkey Roasts available as well as your choice of meat style and stuffing!

Everything is made in-house by Red Barn’s butchers, so you know everything is ultra fresh.

No worries if turkey is not your thing—they offer their own Red Barn smoked hams in boneless and bone-in options, made right in their Saanich Smokehouse!

Remember to pre-order and pick up between December 22nd and December 24th from your selected location!

Haus Sausage Co.

Haus Sausage Co. has confirmed they still have a few turkeys up for grabs!

They are 5 to 7 kilogram birds from Rossdown Farms’ antibiotic and hormone free line and are bound to be fresh and delicious.

Farm + Field Butchers

Not only are Farm + Field Butchers in possession of fresh turkeys, these birds are also ethically sourced and raised without antibiotics or hormones!

The birds are free range, pastured, and fed a biologically appropriate diet.

Farm + Field is a whole animal butchery, so you can rest assured that nothing is wasted and every precious bit of meat is being used.

Additionally, turkey gravy, turkey stock, port cranberry sauce, pancetta brussel sprouts, duck fat fingerling potatoes, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and fresh herb salt are available through the holidays while supplies last.
