Community is a powerful force when everyone works together.

An online fundraiser has been launched by the Claybo family to help support the Caverley family as Cindra, mother of three, undergoes cancer treatment outside of Canada.

According to the GoFundMe page, Cindra Caverley was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer eight years ago, and the illness has now spread to her brain.

In order to give her fighting body its best chance, they decided to seek medical help in Mexico, where she is receiving intense cancer treatments.

The Claybo family describes Cindra’s bravery and her fierce love for her three children, who are cheering her on from afar.

And despite the pain, exhaustion, and mourning the loss of her “soulmate and best friend, Bruce” who passed away from cancer two years ago during her own battle, Cindra is remaining strong and positive.

Cindra hopes to do everything she can to get well and return to her family.

To continue to provide necessary financial support for both her medical needs and family, the GoFundMe has remained active since it was created in mid-October and will continue to accept funds throughout the duration of Cindra’s treatment.

On November 10th, an update was posted stating Cindra was undergoing her second second week of intense treatment.

“She’s feeling exhausted, nauseous, her hair is starting to fall out from the previous radiation she did on her brain and she misses her kids terribly,” read the update.

“She is keeping positive and fighting with everything she has.”

Of this publication, $13,406 of the $70,000 goal has been raised. If you wish to send them a donation, you can do so here
