Here’s what some Greater Victoria regions would look like as LEGO according to local satirist (PHOTOS)

Victoria is unique in that every neighbourhood and region likes to make fun of one another in a playful way.

Every neighbourhood has preconceived notions made about them by others that have become part of the rich tapestry of the 13 municipalities that make up the city.

Some examples of this could be that Oak Bay residents are older, well-to-do and hate leaf blowers, or that Langford residents prefer F-150s over Teslas and the city is secretly run by the Langford Moms Facebook group.

This week, Keep Victoria Boring—a local social media account dedicated to poking fun at the quirkiness of Greater Victoria and its populus—began posting different artificial intelligence (AI) generated LEGO and Playmobil sets, each unique to a distinct municipality of neighbourhood.

The satirical posts so far include: the BC legislature, Fairfield, Oak Bay, Gordon Head, Sidney and Bear Mountain.

In these posts, Keep Victoria Boring also points out objectively funny and controversial news stories over the past couple years such as the pickle ball court noise problem in James Bay and the day pass that is required to use trails through Bear Mountain.

Here’s what Keep Victoria Boring has posted thus far:

Which of these AI generated Greater Victoria neighbourhoods is your favourite and which neighbourhood would you like to see them satire next?
