She is known as a Canadian treasure and jazz icon with her powerful lyrics and enthralling stage presence.

Smut Slam Victoria: Wild

There’s a lustful Smut Slam happening this Wednesday at the Victoria Event Centre (VEC), hosted by the affectionately domineering DD Brassiere.

Consenting Slammers are encouraged to sign up on the night of the event for the chance to tell a 5-minute dirty story…but there are rules.

The story must be based on real life, with loads of real lust, and real smutty details! That means no notes, no props, and no lying—strictly real life and the magic of storytelling.

Your story can be anything from downright scandalous to a funny ‘failed’ experience too. Whatever your heart desires, the audience will be there to listen wholeheartedly!

If you’re too shy to get on stage, they welcome any and all confessions or questions submitted to ‘The F-Bucket’—a convenient receptacle for all of your anonymous spicy thoughts.

Tickets are $18 in advance or $23 at the door.

  • Where: Victoria Event Centre, 1415 Broad Street
  • When: Wednesday, January 24th from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Use the chill outside as an excuse to cozy up for an incredible film, Shackleton – Greatest Story of Survival, in IMAX!

In the early 1900s, Sir Ernest Shackleton set sail with 27 men to attempt to cross the frozen continent of Antarctica on foot. His vessel became trapped in sea ice. After nearly a year locked in the ice, the ship was crushed, forcing the crew into a desperate battle to survive and find their way back to civilization.

Join explorer Tim Jarvis on this incredible experience, reliving Shackleton’s harrowing journey while crossing the perilous landscapes of the great Antarctica and South Georgia.
