CRD has issued an urgent water service announcement for Port Renfrew.
Due to the weather conditions, the Port Renfrew Water System is experiencing extremely low water pressure and Operators are actively trying to isolate where potential leaks are coming from.
To aid in locating these leaks, the CRD is asking residents to conserve water and avoid any non-essential water use, including doing dishes and laundry at this time.
Additionally, if you see any water flowing from your property, report the leak to CRD at 1-855-822-4426.
As a precaution, residents that are serviced by the Port Renfrew Water system are being advised to prepare for the possibility of a full water outage as water pressure continues to steadily decrease.
The decreasing pressure is due to a suspected leak in the distribution system.
