Friday, January 19th is National Popcorn Day, and to celebrate, Cineplex has announced that they’re offering free small bags of their beloved buttery popcorn for the day.
If you’re a Scene+ Member and are looking for the full theatre experience, all you have to do is show your membership card and your movie ticket to receive a free small bag of popcorn at the concession!
For those that can’t make it in person, or if viewing a film from the comfort of your own home is more your style, Cineplex food delivery through UberEats and SkipTheDishes will be offering free small bags of popcorn too.
To claim the bag of free small popcorn, download the SkipTheDishes or Uber Eats app, search ‘Cineplex’, and order your favourite Cineplex snacks. A small bag of popcorn will automatically be added to your order.
Cineplex is thrilled to offer this exclusive deal again and are anticipating massive participation after last year’s National Popcorn Day saw 34 billion Cineplex kernels popped and enjoyed by guests.
Cineplex said their most popular topping was butter, although a fair amount requested top flavours such as Dill Pickle, White Cheddar, and Ketchup.
