VicPD investigators are reissuing a call for the public’s help in locating a 55-year-old man who went missing two years ago.

They issued this call on the anniversary of his disappearance as a means to maintain his name and image in the public eye.

Ian Indridson disappeared from his home in Victoria the morning of January 10th, 2022.

According to a Facebook group dedicated to finding him, he left on foot not long after his 54th birthday while experiencing “an episode of extreme anxiety and sleep deprivation.”

“He’s personable, resourceful, smart. He loves life, has the greatest laugh and will strike up conversations with ease,” wrote the Facebook group admin.

Indridson is described as a Caucasian man standing 5’11” tall, with a slim build, with short grey and black hair.

Police say that at the time he disappeared, Ian is believed to have been wearing a dark-coloured Eddie Bauer sweater, black sweatpants and black rubber boots.

VicPD asks that anyone who sees Ian Indridson call 911.

Anyone with information about where he may be and have not yet spoken with officers should call VicPD at (250) 995-7654.
