Several search warrants were executed Wednesday morning in a multi-jurisdictional drug trafficking investigation, including a high-profile clubhouse in Langford.

In a press release, media relations officer Cpl. Nancy Saggar said the raids are part of a multi-jurisdictional month-long investigation led by the West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit, with assistance from CFSEU-BC and local RCMP.

One of the search warrants was executed at the Savages Club House in Langford, previously identified by police as affiliated with the Hells Angels.

“We appreciate the media and public interest in this and can state there is no threat to the public. West Shore RCMP will provide more details regarding this investigation in the upcoming days. We thank the public and media for their patience,” said Saggar.

The raid was linked to suspected drug trafficking in the West Shore and Greater Victoria areas. Due to the ongoing investigation, Saggar declined to provide further details.

Prior to entry of the facility, a large black fence surrounding the building was taken down and a nearby school was notified.

More to come.
