Toot, toot—all aboard the Easter Eggspress where coloured eggs and treats are a-plenty!

If you’re looking for something fun and adventurous to do with your family on Vancouver Island this Easter long weekend, this is the event for you!

Celebrate Easter with the BC Forest Discovery Centre in Duncan as they bring back the Easter Eggspress train—ready to take you and the kidlets on their annual Easter Scavenger Hunt from Saturday, March 30th to Monday, April 1st.

According to Chris Gale, the manager at the BC Forest Discovery Centre, this event has been an incredibly popular spring tradition for more than ten years, becoming a family staple!

So popular, in fact, they decided to expand the festivities and have them stretch across the entire three days of Easter long weekend.

“As our first event for 2024, we are excited to see our regular members and the families that make so many of our events their family traditions,” Gale said.

“Unlimited train rides, goodie bags for those on the scavenger hunt, and a great educational experience will await those attending the celebrations.”

There will also be a concession for everyone to check out!

The admission rate for children ages 3 to 12 is $8, $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and youth, and free for kids two and under.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door.
