Well, well, Victoria’s weather lived up to its reputation on Monday.
After a day of mixed weather, motorists commuting home in the afternoon were caught off guard by a sudden snowfall, especially in the West Shore area.
Social media suddenly became inundated with photos and video of snow, particularly in Langford and Colwood, while areas such as Saanich and further up island at Shawnigan Lake.
Today’s forecast is full of sunshine, but don’t let that fool you, as there is still a chance of flurries later today and into Wednesday.
While the snow isn’t expected to last long, it definitely was a surprise for many.
