If you don’t have plans this weekend, you’ll want to head down to the good ol’ Barn on Blanshard (Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre) for the return of the Victoria Royals’ popular Country Fest!
In addition to what promises to be spirited games against the opposition on Friday, March 15th, and Saturday, March 16th, there will be live country music both nights, a miniature horse petting zoo, and an extremely lively atmosphere for both adults and kids.
The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. on Friday and at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, but gates will open two hours before each game for festive country fun!
For those who arrive early, there will be a beer garden on the plaza where you can score yourself $5 Bud Lights during Bud Light Happy Hour.
The music lineup for Friday night includes Courtland Duo and Born Reckless, and Jaimey Hamilton, while Saturday will feature County Line, Whiskey Business, and Bryce Allan!
And if you’re still looking to keep partying after the game, there will be an epic after-party at the Duke Saloon both nights—the first 100 people who show their ticket each night will get in for free!
