Update: Michael Moynihan, the subject of a missing person report, has been located, according to RCMP.
“RCMP can now confirm that the 41-year-old man reported missing on March 25, 2025 has been located. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance,” said Cpl. Alex Berube of the BC RCMP.

Tofino RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 41-year-old man.
In a media release, RCMP say Michael Moynihan, who was reported missing on March 25th, was last seen in the Tofino area the day before.
“Police are very concerned for Michael’s health and well-being,” said Cpl. Alex Berube of the BC RCMP.
Moynihan is described as standing 5’7″ tall, weighing about 166 pounds and has blonde hair, brown eyes.
No other details were released.
