Lowe’s is taking over the former Target space at Tillicum Mall in Victoria and the company has announced hiring plans for the new location, set to open in late fall.
This will be the company’s first store in Victoria under the Lowe’s banner, and is expected to create 160 permanent positions in addition to 10 seasonal jobs.
The company will be holding a Career Fair on August 12-13, on the upper level of Tillicum Mall, near the escalators.
The store will be hiring for all positions ranging from Department Managers and Sales Specialists to Night Crew, Cashiers, Customer Service Associates, Department Associates and Receiving Clerks. There will even be a position for a Garden Centre Pro.
The store’s management team will be onsite ready to accept applications and conduct on-the-spot interviews.
The new Victoria Lowe’s will have approximately 93,000 square feet of retail sales space.
