Saanich Police are looking for an older man who is alleged to have confronted and grabbed a 12-year-old boy at a bus stop in the 200 block of Burnside Rd West.
On June 8, 2017, at just after 8:30 PM in front of Tillicum Elementary School, the boy was approached by the suspect, who asked if he was going downtown.
After a “nonsensical conversation”, the boy felt uncomfortable and turned to walk away.
The suspect then grabbed the boy by the shoulder and said: “You’re coming downtown with me.” The boy then ran to an open business and called his mom, who contacted the Police.

The suspect was described as a white male in his sixties, wearing a blue baseball cap, a blue pinstriped collared shirt with white accents and was carrying a black umbrella with orange polka dots.
