The motorcycle used in an armed robbery of a jewellery store in the 600-block of Fort Street has been located and seized by Victoria police.
Police said the stolen bike was found today in the 1000-block of Belmont Avenue.
On Wednesday, two men entered Paul Mara Jewellers before 4:35 pm produced weapons and took merchandise before fleeing the area on a black “sports model” motorcycle that investigators have now recovered.
The men are described as white males, were wearing masks, dark clothing and dark “construction style” safety vests with high-visibility green stripes on them.
No arrests have been made so far.
