Victoria Police are recommending drivers avoid the intersection of Douglas and Yates this morning after a single-vehicle collision in the downtown core.
In a series of tweets, starting at 8:27 am on Wednesday, April 4, VicPD revealed that a driver had crashed into a streetlight, causing a startling scene.
Luckily, no pedestrians were injured.
Police also tweeted that the driver “appeared to have a medical issue” and was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
