Watch those Halloween decorations, Victoria!
Environment Canada released a wind warning for Greater Victoria tonight, warning of potentially damaging winds reaching 70 km/h.
According to the weather agency, the heavy winds are due to a Pacific frontal system moving across the we(s)t coast, and are expected to stay for the night and until tomorrow.
This weather system will drag a trail of cold weather across the island, causing winds of up to 70 km/h to gust over Victoria tonight and early Friday morning.
Environment Canada warns that there is a significant risk of damaging winds tonight, and that loose objects or weak tree branches may break free.
Stay safe out there, and what a way to kickstart November!
