Canada Post has suspended mail delivery in Greater Victoria due to snow

Share

Greater Victoria is currently one of the two regions in the country in which Canada Post has suspended mail delivery on Tuesday.

The postal company issued Red Alerts for Greater Victoria, BC, and Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario on Tuesday due to inclement weather, meaning the two places will not be receiving mail and parcel delivery today.

Canada Post has also issued a Yellow Alert for the rest of Vancouver Island, indicating that mail delivery will be delayed for the area. This alert is also in place for BC’s South Coast, Vancouver, and Southern Ontario.

Mail is just one of the many services that have been impacted by the plethora of snow we’ve been receiving over the past few days.

Transportation, schools, and garbage services in the region have also been heavily affected, among others.
