There are several festivals happening in Victoria (and one in Duncan) this weekend – whether you want to take in some amazing films created by some local producers, take in some sports or learn more about the tasty maple syrup!

Victoria Film Festival 2016
- What: Celebrating 22 years this is the islands largest and longest running film festival which screens over 150 films in 10 days. More information, show times and tickets here.

4th Annual Victoria Yoga Conference
- What: This years conference includes yoga practice, dance and movement, marketplace of exhibitors and workshops covering topics from yogic philosophy to health to the business of yoga. More information, calendar of events and tickets here.
- When: Saturday February 6 from 8:00am-9:00pm and Sunday February 7 from 8:00-6:00pm
- Where: Victoria Conference Centre, 720 Douglas Street
The Victoria Tea Festival Revival
- What: From the tea sommelier to the tea novice, take part during the nightly seminars celebrating, tasting and expanding knowledge on all things tea. Entrance to all events by donation.
- When: Sunday February 7 until Sunday February 14

Big Leaf Maple Syrup Festival
- What: Attend this festival if you are interested in learning how to tap your own maple trees. Enjoy live entertainment. $10/adults and seniors, $8/children and students, members are free. Festival schedule available here.

- Where: BC Forest Discovery Centre, 2892 Drinkwater Road – Duncan
America’s Rugby Championship
- What: Rugby Canada’s National Senior Men’s Team opens the competition against Uraguay. Tickets available here.
