Live music, photos with Santa, gingerbread house decorating, and a tree lighting… sounds like the perfect way to start your holiday season!
Luckily, on Saturday, December 1st, Threshold Housing Society is bringing all those activities and more to Bastion Square for their amazing Winter Carnival – an event sponsored by Coast Capital Savings.
They’ll have plenty of entertainment for the whole family. MC-ed by local realtor Tony Joe, the event features great local bands, plus face painting, Christmas ornament crafting, and of course Saint Nick himself.

Helping to Highlight Youth in Need
Not to mention, the whole event is in support of a great cause. So, while you sip on your Murchie’s hot chocolate and listen to great local bands, you can also participate in the most important part of the season: the spirit of giving.
Committed to creating a safe and stable home environment for our community’s most vulnerable and marginalized youth, Threshold Housing Society provides housing, healthy community, and comprehensive support services to help youth navigate the challenges of school, work, and relationships.
Threshold aims to steer youth away from adult homelessness by providing them with the supports necessary to become healthy and thriving young adults.
So make sure to clear your Saturday schedule for December 1st and enjoy an afternoon of wholesome holiday fun!
