Victoria Police are aiding Animal Control in their search for the person who zipped up a kitten inside a shaving bag and then dumped the bag in a garbage can at Hillside Shopping Centre last week.
The kitten was found and rescued by mall employee Brian Boria at around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4th before she was handed over to Victoria Animal Control.

Although the animal, named Lily by her rescuer, has now recovered from her ordeal, she was initially found weak, dehydrated, and initial tests revealed methamphetamine in her system.
Two days after she was found, VicPD were contact to investigate the incident and have since been reviewing CCTV footage in the area.
They are now seeking a person of interest who is shown in the video provided below.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, jeans and white shoes and was noticeably hunched over.
Police say he was also associated to a dark grey vehicle – possibly a 2010 Ford Escape – pictured here.
“Officers would like to speak with the man as he may have information that would further the investigation,” they stated in a release.
