For the second year in a row, the Victoria Pride Society is hosting a free Pride month kick-off event just for young people.
The Youth Pride Kickoff Party invites all LGBTQ2+ and Ally youth to join them in the main Fairfield Recreation Centre building to celebrate the beginning of Pride month in Victoria.

Geared specifically towards creating a fun environment for young people to celebrate in, this multi-room event will feature music, food and beverages, clothing swap, craft tables (button making, clothing graffiti, patches, etc.), an . outdoor space, a Drag Makeup Workshop, and a room to just chill in.
The organizers will be rounding out the night with a variety show featuring both youth and seasoned performers.
In the spirit of inclusivity and ensuring a safe space for all, participants are required to refrain from exhibiting or expressing any form of oppression and anything that can harm or limit others’ mental and physical well-being.
Happening this Saturday, the event will be also attended by volunteer youth workers and safer space/harm reduction workers.
