Victoria man arrested for keying cars on a BC Ferries sailing

A Victoria man was arrested in Vancouver last week for allegedly keying several cars aboard a BC Ferries vessel.

On Tuesday, July 9th, the Delta Police Department (DPD) werecalled to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal for reports of a man keying vehicles on an a docking ferry.

According to the DPD, the call came from aferry passenger who said that another passenger was threatening to key vehicles that had their alarms activated, as it was “upsetting” his dog.

“Our officers attended and found vehicles that appeared to have fresh paint damage on them,” DPD spokesperson Cris Leykauf told Victoria Buzz.

The Victoria man was then arrested on suspicion of mischief and has since been released on a promise to appear in court.

His name was not released.
