‘Tis the season for Christmas craft fairs, and this is one you don’t want to miss!

If you’re looking to do all of your Christmas shopping in one place AND support local this year, look no further.

Vancouver Island’s A Touch of Salt Spring Christmas Craft Show is back and promises to be better than ever – your one-stop shop for everyone on your list.

The event includes over 100 vendors selling their handmade crafts, artisanal goods and more.

The three day event is the most popular arts and crafts show on the island, and this year it returns to the one of its original locations, the Saanich Fairgrounds.

Though all of the vendors at the beloved event are incredible, here are 15 you won’t want to miss in your holiday stroll through the Touch of Saltspring Christmas Craft Fair:

Island Guy With Chai

Chai handcrafted on Vancouver Island, with 10 premium varieties (and counting) that feature mixtures of traditional spices and exotic ingredients.

Hornby Island Soap

100% natural, vegan, and made with love, all of their products are carefully concocted to nourish, soothe and repair even the most sensitive skin.

Island Highlander

This husband and wife team decided to start up a small business baking out of their home in Nanoose Bay, BC. Since the opening of the commercial bakery, Stuart and Bobbie provide their British baked goods to local Farmers Markets and specialty shops. ​

Wayward Distillery

Situated in the Comox Valley, Wayward Distillery has led the charge in honey-based spirits since 2014. Each of their spirits are crafted on a base of sustainable honey, supporting local agriculture.

Island Beeswax

Contest Guidelines

A Touch of Saltspring

  • Where: Saanich Fairgrounds
  • When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday December 3rd, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, December 4th and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday December 5th
  • Wristbands: $5 each giving you access to all three days of the event – kids under 12 are free! Wristbands can be purchased at the Saanich Fairground entrance.
