How’d you like to take your lunch break with a beautiful ocean view?
This may be your chance, as the Sidney BIA and the Town of Sidney have partnered with Beacon Community Services are hosting a unique job fair this month, and you’re invited.
On May 19th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., over 30 different Sidney businesses will be on-site at Mary Winspear Centre hiring for a wide variety of positions over different industries; from health care and retail, to animal care and trades.
The event promises to be a modern twist on the traditional job fair—it will include on-the-spot interviews, so job seekers could potentially leave with a job that day.
Not only that, they’ll have food trucks and a live band on-site, plus FREE ice cream for all attendees. Even better? Attendees will also have the chance to win a $500 Sidney shopping spree while they’re there!
Job seekers are encouraged to arrive prepared with a resume for the wide variety of jobs that will be available—it’s not only just retail!
