Vancouver Island is home to another lotto winner!
Duncan resident, Elizabeth MacMillan, is exactly $78,059 richer after matching 5 of 6 numbers from the October 29th, 2022 Lotto 6/49 draw.
MacMillan purchased her ticket from WS Supermarket on Sherman Road and was there when she asked the retailer to check the ticket for her.
“I was watching the screen and then I heard the sound and saw the amount come up,” MacMillan recalled.
“I said, ‘Is that?’ and before I could finish my question he replied, ‘yes!’”.
To celebrate her windfall, MacMillan plans to treat her family to a nice dinner and will put the rest away for a “rainy day”.
“It’s magnificent,” she said of how it feels to be a winner.
