When it comes to spring cleaning, don’t leave improving your home’s energy efficiency off your list!

With thousands of dollars in government rebates available, the Home Energy Navigator program is here to help you navigate every step of the way. Spring is the perfect time to get started on your home energy upgrades.

The Home Energy Navigator is a free program created by local governments in BC to engage and support homeowners throughout their home energy retrofit journey from planning, to hiring contractors, to applying for rebates and more.

A partnership between the CRD and City Green, the program supports and guides homeowners on climate-friendly upgrades that, individually and collectively, support global efforts to tackle and adapt to climate change.

Why upgrade your home?

Feeling too hot in the summer, or too cold in the winter? Home energy upgrades can help make your home more comfortable year-round!

They can also help reduce your energy bills, unwanted noise, and carbon pollution. Rebates are available for upgrades such as new energy-efficient windows, doors, added insulation, switching from an old fossil fuel heating system to a new electric heat pump, and more!

When you sign up for the free Home Energy Navigator program, you’ll get:

  • Free support and guidance from local energy experts throughout the process
  • Access to thousands of dollars in rebates and personalized rebate application package
  • Increased home energy efficiency and improved comfort year-round!

Upgrading your home can be a big undertaking, but Home Energy Navigator can help!

Residents can participate in the program for free by filling out a registration form online, or calling 1.866.381.9995.
