Canada Day is always a big cause for celebration in Victoria, and this year’s event will be no different—but did you know there’s a whole list of free, fun and family-friendly activities to partake in on the big day?
From multicultural performances to a kids zone and everything in between, Canada Day Victoria, which is presented by EF International Language Campuses, promises to provide a whole day of excitement, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display above the Innter Harbour.
To celebrate the day of celebration, we’ve partnered with Canada Day Victoria to give away a Summer Swag Gift Pack compliments of EF International Language Campuses! You’ll find those contest details below.
Here’s a list of free, family-friendly events happening this Saturday, July 1st:

Live Multicultural Performances on the Chard Main Stage from 1 p.m. until 10:20 p.m. Visit the Arist Bio Page to read about all the performances scheduled for the day!

Kids Zone featuring bouncy castle, bouncy obstacle course, face painting and glitter tattoos will run from noon until 6 p.m. on the Legislature lawn

Tickles and Yowza the clowns in the Kids Zone from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Victoria Bug Zoo, Pacific Football Club, and EF International Language Campuses will all offer kid-friendly activities

Destination Greater Victoria, TELUS, Victoria Orange Shirt Day, Country Grocers, Island Savings and Dr. Oetker will have exhibits and samples
- Fireworks to top off the evening at 10:20 p.m.
There will also be the Flavours of the World Food Court on-site, featuring the best of the Victoria Food Truck scene!
