BC RCMP have released more details on the Amber Alert that was issued earlier this week.
According to the latest update, the mother, 45-year-old Verity Bolton, accused of abducting her two children may be in the company of two men — Verity’s father, Robert Bolton age 74 and Verity’s boyfriend, Abraxas Glazov, age 53.
Additionally, police released new surveillance images of the kids who were seen at a gas station in the Merritt area on July 7th.
The store’s security cameras captured both Aurora and Joshuah as well as a large camping trailer they were travelling with at the time.
The Amber Alert was initially issued by Surrey RCMP on Wednesday, July 19th, and details have since confirmed that the mother was the suspect in the children’s disappearance.
Bolton was supposed to be taking her children, 8-year-old Aurora Bolton and 10-year-old Joshuah Bolton, on a camping trip in late June—however, she canceled the camping spot prior to their arrival.
Both children were supposed to be returned to their father, who has primary custody, on July 17th.

Investigators believe the vehicle to be a blue 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab pick-up truck with a BC license plate number of SJ2708.
“Our entire family is devastated by recent events,” Aurora and Joshuah’s immediate family shared.
“We ask everyone if they could continue to be vigilant in looking for Josh and Aurora, who we miss greatly and hope they will be returned home safe very soon.”
As previously reported, the last confirmed sighting of Verity was on July 15th. She was seen grocery shopping in Kamloops wearing all black — including a black hat, sunglasses, and a black sweater.
Video surveillance confirms the children were not with her at the time, and shows she was towing a horse trailer rather than a large camping trailer.
Anyone who sees the mother or children is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
