Missing 24-year-old Nanaimo woman may be with wanted man: RCMP (UPDATED)

UPDATE:

Nanaimo RCMP announced on Thursday, August 31st, that Skeldoch has been located safe and sound.

Garret Sahm, the 28-year-old man who was believed to be in her company, has not been located and remains at large on multiple outstanding warrants.

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a 24-year-old woman who was reported missing on Tuesday, August 29th.

Ashley Skeldoch was reported missing by her family after they were unable to reach her by phone, which is reportedly out of character for her.  

Police say they believe Skeldoch may be in the company of 28-year-old, Garrett Sahm, who they say is currently wanted on several arrest warrants including sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement. 

Nanaimo RCMP say based on the information they have thus far, there is significant concern for her safety and well-being. 

Skeldoch is described as a Caucasian woman, standing 5’3” tall, weighing around 105 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. 

Police say Sahm is a Caucasian man, standing 5’11” tall, approximately 135 pounds, with receding brown hair and hazel eyes. 

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Ashley Skeldoch or Garrett Sahm should call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
