Family of missing Vancouver Island woman concerned for her wellbeing

Police and family members are hoping the public can help locate a missing Vancouver Island woman reported missing over the weekend.

In a media release, Campbell River RCMP said they’re searching for Cassidy Hinsberger, a 25-year-old woman who was reported missing on September 16th.

Hinsberger stands at 5 feet 7 inches with an athletic build, weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel coloured eyes.

Her sudden disappearance has raised grave concerns, and any information regarding her whereabouts is vital in ensuring her safe return to her family and loved ones.

Hinsberger is associated with a 2012 Black Mazda 2 bearing the BC license plate LJ319D.

It is believed that she may be traveling to Calgary, Alberta, and could be camping along the way.

“If anyone has heard from my sister Cassidy Hinsberger in the last few days… please let me or my parents know, we are worried about her, thank you,” wrote her brother Jordan in a Facebook post.

Anyone with information of if you see Hinsberger is asked to contact local police.
