Choppy Seas Comedy

Head over to Driftwood Brewing for their Choppy Seas Comedy Night!

Featured for Tuesday’s show will include Nash Park, Patti Savard, Bo Jagger Essery, Kathleen Johnson and Barry Underwood.

Choppy Seas Comedy brings together some of the best comedians across Canada for evenings of top-notch, quality, and belly-busting laughs to all their audiences!

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.

Benji’s Trivia at Whistle Buoy

Time to dust off your thinking caps and secure them tight!

Benji’s Trivia Night is back for another round of mind-benders and stumpers to test the extent of your knowledge.

15th Annual Gingerbread Showcase

Go and check out the 15th annual Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Showcase!

It officially kicked off on November 25th and will run until January 4th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at the Hotel Grand Pacific.

The showcase is hosted each year to raise funds to help local families achieve a hand-up into affordable homeownership and has become a tradition in the community for both workers and volunteers and the public!

Professional and amateur bakers spend hundreds of hours creating 100% edible gingerbread displays for visitors to come and donate to vote for their favourite.

Catch a Film at Vic Theatre

Expand your movie horizons and check out Fallen Leaves at Vic Theatre, directed by Aki Kaurismäki!

It’s a movie set in modern Helsinki, where a pair of love-struck folks bump into each other at a karaoke joint. Their quest ends up taking a funny detour.

Fallen Leaves has won many awards and has been described as a must-see!

Barbie will also be playing at the Vic Theatre at 7:30 p.m. and can be purchased here.
