The very first Popeyes Chicken on Vancouver Island opened its doors in December 2021 to an overwhelming fan response, with crowds lining up around the block for weeks.
The chicken chain has exploded over the last few years, opening many locations across BC and now a second location has opened at the new Allandale District in Colwood.
In 2021, the New Orleans style of cuisine set out with bold ambitions with opening as many as five more franchises on Vancouver Island.
Visitors can anticipate enjoying all of Popeye’s classic offerings, such as its signature chicken, chicken sandwiches, and seafood.
The new spot is located at 691 Allandale Road, near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Sooke Road.
