West Shore RCMP reissue plea for help locating missing 21-year-old man (UPDATED)

West Shore RCMP have confirmed that 21-year-old Omar Peters has been located, and they thank the public and media for their assistance.

After almost a week of searching to no avail, West Shore RCMP have reissued a missing person’s notice for 21-year-old Omar Peters

Police say Peters was last seen by family on November 22nd at around 12 p.m. 

According to investigators, he is believed to frequent the area of Danbrook Park in Langford. 

Peters is described as a young Caucasian man, standing 5’7” tall, with a thin build. He has black hair, green eyes, and was last seen wearing a red toque and orange jacket. 

The photo seen above is not one that was taken recently, according to police. 

Unsuccessful in the several leads police received, officers say they remain concerned for his health and well-being.

Anyone who has any information on Peters whereabouts or has recently seen him should contact local police.
