Happy sleepy Monday, Victoria!

Although there aren’t a lot of specific events happening this Monday, there are still plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained if you’re looking for an outing, but nothing too wild.

You could catch a movie at Vic Theatre, check out what’s on tap at Phillips Brewery, visit a Dine Around participating restaurant, and more.

Plus, if you’ve been meaning to check ‘donate blood’ off of your bucket list, consider this your reminder—they’re always grateful!

Here’s 5 things to do in and around Victoria on Monday, January 29th:

Visit the Interactivity Board Game Cafe

Gather a group of close pals or coworkers and have a nice, relaxing night at the Interactivity Board Game Cafe.

There are endless amounts of games to choose from and you can also treat yourself to a delicious food or beverage menu item while you play.

If you find a game you love, you can purchase it in their store section and take it home with you!

It’s $7 to sit and play.

Freud’s Last Session at The Vic Theatre

Catch a new drama movie staring Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode, Freud’s Last Session, loved for its great acting and gorgeous cinematography!

As described, the movie is set on the eve of WWII, where Sigmund Freud invites C.S. Lewis to debate the existence of God.

The film explores Freud’s unique relationship with his lesbian daughter, Anna, and Lewis’ unconventional romance with his best friend’s mother. Interweaving past, present, and fantasy, the storyline unfolds beyond the confines of Freud’s study.

Tickets are just over $13 and can be purchased here.

  • Where: Vic Theatre, 808 Douglas Street
  • When: Monday, January 29th at 5 p.m.

On Tap at Phillips Brewery

Nothing better than an evening beer, and Phillips Brewery is happy to help you!
