Butchart Gardens closing for two weeks at the end of January to allow staff to rest

Share

Did you make it to Butchart Gardens this holiday season?

After another successful year of bringing joy and festive spirit over the holidays, as per previous years, Butchart Gardens will be closing their gates from Monday, January 22nd to Sunday, February 4th.

This will allow the staff the chance to engage in much-needed rest after all of their hard work and return refreshed.

They will welcome the public back into the gardens on Monday, February 5th.

If you have a 12-month pass that’s valid during these dates, it will be extended by the amount of days they’re closed—so you won’t have to worry about missing out on much needed garden time.

If you’re still hoping to squeeze in a visit before they take down their marvelous Christmas light displays, you can see them until Saturday, January 6th!

After this date, the lights will also get their rest until next year, where they’ll once again spark awe and happiness in visitors.

The garden will return to its regular season glory, where the flowers, shrubs, trees, and beautiful landscaping are the main stars of the show.
