Here to bring the heat to Victoria, the Isle of Tease is ready to capture your attention and hearts.

The Isle of Tease Burlesque Festival delights its audiences with both award winning global performers as well as local dynamos!

These performers not only showcase exceptional burlesque and performance art talent, but the event as a whole also contributes to the local arts and culture scene, making a lasting impact on the community.

Additionally, Isle of Tease celebrates diversity by creating an inclusive cast with talented BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, and disabled performers as well as many other marginalized representations.

According to a media release, this festival attracts over 850 attendees during the course of their two-day showcase and is an internationally recognized event—bringing headliners and performers from across North America!

Their headliners are known to make the festival stand out, each being award-winning and globally renowned performers.

For example, Lou Lou La Duchesse De Riere from Kahnawake Quebec, was crowned Miss Exotic World in 2022 (a coveted title won at the Burlesque Hall of Fame), and recently voted the #1 influential burlesque industry figure of 2023.

Other noteworthy headliners include Iva Handfull from Port Angeles Washington, the Executive Director of BurlyCon, and Lorna, who at the age of 80, has been inducted as a Legend into the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. She recently performed at the “Titans of Tease” evening for their Burlesque Weekender.

“Legend” being a title of respect given to the trailblazers of this art form from the 40’s to 80’s.

“Burlesque is more than just sequins and rhinestones,” a media release said.

“It’s a rich living subversive history.”

Tickets for this event are just under $55 per show, or you can get a weekend pass for $97.
