Star Wars fans, you may want to grip your seats and ready your day planners!
Another star appearance announcement from the Island FanCon organizers has graced our newsfeeds and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Alongside Game of Thrones star Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, also known as ‘The Mountain,’ will be joined by The Mandalorian actress Emily Swallow!
Swallow plays the Armorer on the smash hit series The Mandalorian as well as its spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett. The character has become a beloved character in the Star Wars universe and has been instrumental in the show’s catch phrase “This is the Way”.
She also stars as the recurring character Amara in the wildly popular series Supernatural and was the voice of Lisa Tepes on the Netflix cartoon iteration of Castlevania.
“Emily joining our line-up of guests for Island FanCon further cements our commitment to pop culture pedigree,” Island FanCon founder Lonnie Eckardt said.
“The Star Wars universe is very much a multi-generational fandom and we are so excited to have that element included for our first year.”
In case you missed the first announcement, Langford’s inaugural Island FanCon event will be coming to City Centre Park from Saturday April 13th to 14th!
The event will be modeled after Northern FanCon based out of Prince George, and in addition to these stars’ presence, Island FanCon is promising an epic celebration of pop culture and an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.
Day passes are $32 or you can get a weekend pass for $55—tickets can be purchased here.
There is also a VIP ticket package available for $111 that includes workshops, and celebrity guest interview panels, VIP Shirt, Island FanCon original art, early event access, and other fantastic deals.
