Campbell River RCMP announced that as of Friday, February 16th, they are no longer searching for the two teenagers reported missing earlier this week.
Police previously stated that the two girls, Dommie Malcolmson and Cora Potoski, were thought to be together and actively evading capture.
They were both reported missing by their families at approximately the same time, 3:30 p.m. on February 12th.

During their investigation, it was discovered that the two girls travelled together to Quadra Island the day they went missing.
Several days later, officers sought the aid of a police dog to help them find Malcolmson and Potoski.
Police dog Norco was successful in locating the duo and the teens are now safe and sound.
