Better weather is on the way, Victoria—just not yet!

While warmer weather and sun days are ahead, Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for Victoria and Southern Gulf Islands this evening.

The weather alert indicates that a frontal system will bring strong southeast winds of 70 km/h gusting to 90 km/h to the region and are expected to ease before midnight.

While Victoria is expected to experience a couple more days of on-and-off weather, conditions are anticipated to improve as the week progresses, with Environment Canada forecasting temperatures to reach 19°C on Saturday.

With the mercury climbing steadily throughout the week, Friday will see highs of 14°C, followed by a delightful peak of 19°C on Saturday, with Sunday maintaining the pleasant trend with a high of 17°C.

But perhaps the most anticipated highlight is the promise of clear skies and uninterrupted sunshine throughout the entire weekend.

Just a few more days!
