Turns out, heaven on earth isn’t far away at all!
This November, Fudge in a Round – a company founded by local Sooke couple Kelly and Paul DeRocco – will be featured on Dragon’s Den, and we can’t wait!
On May 9th we went to CBC and made our way through the Shadow Wall.. walked down 6 steps, and then..

Founded in 2012, the Sooke-based operation serves fudge in a round cup that is so soft and creamy, you can eat it with a spoon.
The successful home-based operation features up to 60 flavours, all of which are gluten free! You can order them online, or find them in Sooke Sweet and Pop Shoppe at 6250 Sooke Rd.
This isn’t the first time the company has been in the media spotlight: earlier this year, Fudge in a Round was one of the only three Canadian companies asked to hand out their goodies in a swag-bag at a pre-Oscars award ceremony.
And back in 2016, they were a part of a pre-Emmy swag bag party in Hollywood.

To celebrate their latest accomplishment, owners Kelly and Paul DeRocco will be hosting a Dragon’s Den viewing party on November 2nd, at the Sooke Legion.
We hope this means good news is on the horizon for the cherished chocolatiers!
