A shooting in Toronto Sunday night has left 13 people injured and one victim dead.
According to tweets from Toronto Police, 14 victims were shot with a handgun near Danforth and Pape Avenues, in the city’s Greektown neighbourhood at around 10 p.m. ET.
The shooter also died in an exchange of gunfire, after killing one woman, critically injuring a young girl, and injuring 12 others.
Witnesses told CP24 that they heard anywhere between a dozen and 20 shots. One man told the TV station that he saw the shooter, who was dressed in black and wearing a hat.
Toronto Police are now asking witnesses to contact them with information.
