You may want to look up tonight, Victoria!
If the clouds clear up, even just for a minute, we may be able to glimpse a stunning and massive Hunter’s moon that’s sure to light up the night sky.
Similar to last month’s harvest moon, the Hunter’s moon is named so because it rises in the month of October which is when hunters gathered up and preserved their game for the coming winter months.
Sometimes considered a supermoon, the harvest moon has several different names in other cultures, like kindly moon, travel moon, or blood moon.
The hunter’s moon is set to stay up in the sky from dusk to dawn. Now all we need is a spot of clear weather!
