Share

On Sunday, December 17th, Sidney/North Saanich RCMP got a call from a resident about some stolen items.

The complainant stated that some property was stolen from a shed that had been broken into on Wain Road, and that they later found some of their belongings lying in the bushes on Swartz Bay Road.

They also found some items that did not belong to them, and turned them over to the police. Officers believe these possessions were stolen as well and are looking to find their owners.

In light of this incident, police are reminding people to lock up their secondary/storage units and check them from time to time to make sure everything is in place.

The found items are now being stored at the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP Detachment.

If you have recently been a victim of a similar crime, or have any information about it please contact the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP, your local police department, or Crimestoppers at 1-800- 222-8477 (TIPS).
