Next Saturday and Sunday, the Pearkes Recreation Centre will be full of inspirational exhibitors, speakers and entrepreneurs for a the popular two-day event: The Victoria Women’s Expo!
Join like-minded ladies in a celebration of everything that it means to be a woman – with more than 100 exhibitors, you will see a wide variety of booths that are targeted towards all different walks of life.
You can see more event info here, but without further ado, here are 14 reasons why you need to attend this year’s Victoria Women’s Expo!

The list of exhibitors for this event is nothing to scoff at, and whether it’s your very first time attending or you’ve been going since the very beginning, you’re sure to find whatever it is that tickles your fancy! Also, it’s the perfect time to do all of your Easter and Mother’s Day shopping – with access to local shops, clothing, jewelry, spa treatments, chocolates, pottery and more.

Speaking of, the fact that the tickets are only $8 a piece for general admission ($6 if you’re a senior, student, or military!), and $12 for a two-day pass means that you’re getting a crazy amount of bang for your buck.

From hormone balancing to body-positive models speaking on how to love the body you’re in, each day is packed full of speakers that will leave you feeling motivated and inspired.
6. You’re supporting local
Many of the exhibitors and speakers are residents of our fair city, and as such have some of the best insights and information on exactly what the happenings are in Victoria. Proceeds from The Donut Wall will go towards raising funds for the Victoria Women’s Transition House. Other community organizations helping women Broken Promises Pet Rescue, Bridges for Women and Eco Mamma’s and more.

With today’s busy modern-day world, it’s hard to keep track of what’s current. With 100+ unique exhibitors on deck, Victoria Women’s Expo is a great look into what the latest and greatest is, from things like essential oils and organics to the newest food crazes and even pet food!

It’s so important to take care of ourselves, and sometimes that means diving a bit deeper! Join special guest speaker Ashley Leong-Lewer for her informative talk Let’s Talk Pelvic Floor: Chronic Pain, Migraines, Digestive Issues and its Relationship to the Pelvic Floor.

There are massages, places to relax and recharge – even charge your phone! You can try a treatment, kick up your feet enjoy and some water from one of Victoria Women’s Expo’s sponsors Simply Pure Canada.

A Day Pass is only $8 – and even less for Seniors, Students and Military – $6.00 and Senior Rate starts at 55! (and entrance is free for kids 12 and under). Or, if you’d like to indulge in the full weekend experience, you can grab a two-day pass for $12!
