After a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the highly anticipated REMAX Sidney Street Market is set to make a grand comeback to Beacon Avenue this Thursday!
Beginning on June 15th and running every Thursday until September 14th, this vibrant community market that draws thousands each week promises to offer an array of delights for residents and visitors alike.
To celebrate the return of the market, a special grand re-opening ceremony has been planned for June 15th.
The festivities will commence with a Welcome & Blessing by Renee J-Sampson, representing the Wsanec First Nation, paying homage to the rich indigenous heritage of the area.
Following the ceremony, attendees will be treated to a captivating performance by the Drum & Dance group from the WSANEC Leadership School, known as HELISET.
With over 80 confirmed vendors participating on June 15th, the REMAX Sidney Street Market will offer a diverse range of products. From delectable baked goods and farm-fresh produce to unique arts and crafts, pet accessories, photography, clothing, jewelry, and much more, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition, REMAX has joined forces as the Title Sponsor, ensuring the market’s success and making it officially known as the “REMAX Sidney Street Market.”
This partnership highlights the commitment of both REMAX and the market organizers to supporting the local community and fostering economic growth.
To celebrate the return of this Sidney staple, we’re giving away a $100 Sidney by the Sea gift card that can be used at any participating business in the community.
