In an effort to reunite a collection of Indigenous-style masks and carvings with their rightful owner, VicPD are seeking the public’s assistance.
The discovery of these masks and carvings took place on Pandora Avenue in the 900-block on Thursday morning while VicPD officers were providing support to bylaw services.
Police believe the items were stolen and said “officers ensured the items were handled in a culturally sensitive manner.”
Anyone with information that can help identify the rightful owner is asked to contact VicPD at 250-995-7654.
