Bands! Bands! Bands! at the VEC
The Victoria Event Centre is thrilled to present their new music series ‘Bands! Bands! Bands!’ set to kick off this Tuesday!
The artists featured for their first ever event include Talal McBriar, Daisy Stranglers, Baby Boy and the Earthly Delights and Sharon.
It’s funded by the City of Victoria’s Music Strategy Fund and will take place every month with a focus on local musicians and bands across all genres!
This is huge news for emerging artists who want to perform but can’t quite justify the cost of renting a venue.
So, grab a bundle of your pals and support local musicians at the VEC!
Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door.

OK, DOPE Student Showcase
Looking for a unique night out?
Come out and cheer on the OK, DOPE students as they demonstrate their newly acquired skills in comedy and improv at The Mint!

Victoria West Coast Swing
Come learn how to swing dance at the Eastern Star Hall Chapters No 5 & No 17 — no partner or experience required!
It’s only $5 at the door and then a quick liability waiver.
They ask that you bring your own water but leave any snacks at home.

The Cybertronic Spree at Capital Ballroom
MRG Live and Capital Ballroom are thrilled to present The Cybertronic Spree!
They’re a rock band, and as described, they blend their love for the ’80s and ’80s metal into an energon-fueled, unforgettable live show.

Victoria Language Exchange (VLE)
VLE is putting on their monthly Language Exchange at Swans Brewery Pub!
VLE is an in-person international language exchange group in Victoria, where members meet up to practice the languages they’re learning, get the chance to speak in their native language, and make friends from around the world.
They value real-life practice and interaction as opposed to grammar books and textbooks — though they say those always help too!
Anyone can become a member! $2 entry fee and be sure to bring your photo ID, as this is a 19+ event.
