Good frigid morning, Victoria!

The temperatures have dropped significantly around the region so before heading out today, make sure to dress warm and perhaps stick with the indoor events.

With that said, plenty of such events are taking place in the city today. Just make sure to check whether the event is still happening in case the weather takes a further turn.

Emo Night

Looking for a night of pure emo energy? Lucky Bar invites you to join for their Emo Night, where all the hits from the bands that defined the genre will be played.

From Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance to Jimmy Eat World and The Used, they’ve got your emo favorites covered. So, attendees are encouraged to grab their black eyeliner and their favorite band tee, and join them for a night of nostalgia, catharsis, and unapologetically emotional music.

Cirque du Soleil

Life is a spectacle—especially when Cirque du Soleil is part of it!

The largest theatrical producer in the world announced their famed show ‘Corteo’ will be returning to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for seven performances starting this Thursday!

Directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, this surreal production first featured in Montreal in 2005, and has since become one of Cirque du Soleil’s most popular shows, airing in over 64 cities in 20 countries on four continents.

Tickets for this wonderful event are available online.

If you can’t make it Thursday, then you’ll have until Sunday, January 14th to witness such an ethereal set of performances!

LEGO Exhibit at the Sidney Museum

Visitors and residents alike can head over to the museum and immerse themselves in the wonderous and imaginative world of LEGO.

Hundreds of LEGO sets are expected to be on display, including an array of new additions that will encourage guests who’ve seen it in previous years to come and enjoy it once again.

IMAX: Deep Sky
