“I’ll just leave this here,” is all Empire Donuts wrote on social media as they posted a graphic announcing a new location coming to an up-island community soon.
The lucky community was revealed to be Duncan, and the post even suggests that the location will be open before the end of the year.

The announcement was posted on the morning of Monday, April 29th and has already garnered hundreds of reactions as well as a myriad of comments.
Amongst the comments were many celebratory Duncanites and some asking for owner Melanie Laverick to bring her iconic donuterie to their respectful communities.
“OMG OMG amazing! So when I come to visit my parents this summer…I can hit you up?!” read one comment.
“But… but… but… What about Westshore?!?,” read another.
For those in Duncan looking to get a custom pie or cake, you may be in luck as well once Empire opens in town, as in both of their Victoria locations, they offer these services.
